Gordon Street & Streetscape Improvements, Town of Beaufort, North Carolina
Rivers conducted the surveying, design and construction administration for the street improvements project consisting of 1,800 LF of new storm sewer construction.
The new storm sewers replaced existing systems that failed due to siltation clogging or were converted to sanitary sewers as a result of combined sewer flows. - The new facilities eliminate flooding of the interior of several city blocks.
- Project included complete water, sewer, underground utility and street and sidewalk reconstruction
- Rivers performed boundary and topographic surveying, furnished preliminary & final designs and conducted the construction administration and inspection.
