Gordon Street & Streetscape Improvements, Town of Beaufort, North Carolina
Rivers conducted the surveying, design and construction administration for the street improvements project consisting of 1,800 LF of new storm sewer construction.
- The new storm sewers replaced existing systems that failed due to siltation clogging or were converted to sanitary sewers as a result of combined sewer flows.
- The new facilities eliminate flooding of the interior of several city blocks.
- Project included complete water, sewer, underground utility and street and sidewalk reconstruction
- Rivers performed boundary and topographic surveying, furnished preliminary & final designs and conducted the construction administration and inspection.
