Various street improvements since 1974 street planning, extensions, tie-ins to major intersections, curb and gutter and thoroughfare widening.
In 1974, designed the first section of Arlington Blvd. between Red Banks Rd. and Greenville Blvd. consisting of 2,700 LF of five lane thoroughfare roadway section and a tie into two major intersections. In 1977, Rivers designed the section between Evans St. and Hooker Rd. consisting of the design of a four lane thoroughfare. In 1981, designed the section between Stantonburg Rd. and Beasley Dr. In 1991, Rivers designed the section between Red Banks Rd. and Firetower Rd. consisting of 10,800 LF of five lane 65' curb and gutter roadway section and 36' two lane section with roadway ditch drainage and a five acre stormwater detention facility including pump station to serve approximately a 500 acre development. In 1992, Rivers designed the section between Hooker Rd. and Memorial Dr. consisting of 1800 LF of five lane roadway for thoroughfare widening.
