Rivers developed a schematic land plan for potential layout of projected park uses.
The proposed concept park includes: 4-field softball/baseball complex; two open playfields to accommodate multi-purpose uses for soccer, lacrosse, softball, etc.; 18-hole disc golf course; 2-mile walking / bike trails; off-leash dog park; playground area, multiple picnic shelter areas; and other park amenities. The Rivers planning effort included preparation of a graphic site plan as well as preliminary cost opinions for overall concept plan ($11.0 million) and for several first phase options valued at approximately $2.0 million.
