Rivers evaluated site environmental factors, participated in a project stakeholders process and public forums enroute to development of a schematic master land plan for projected recreation park uses as well as preliminary cost opinions.
The proposed park includes: 350 feet premiere softball/baseball field, natural turf open playfield to accommodate simultaneous multi-purpose uses for soccer, lacrosse, football, softball, etc.; regulation synthetic turf field to accomodate soccer, lacrosse, rugby and football; 18-hole disc golf course; 2-mile improved multi-use trails; off-leash dog park; playground area, multiple picnic shelter areas; and other park amenities. The Rivers planning effort included preparation of various schematic optional plans, a graphic site plan as well as preliminary cost opinions for overall concept plan ($9.9 million) and for the first phase option.
