Sandy Run Park, Town of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina
Rivers designed and completed the construction administration of a recreational park facility located on 11 acres of wetlands, canals, and sand ridges.
- The Facility includes a 1/4mile interpretive nature walk with elevated boardwalk, canal pedestrian bridge, canoe/kayak docks, picnic shelter, on-site utilities and parking facilities.
- Site amenities include parking facilities, a horseshoe pit, a shuffleboard court, and half-court basketball.
- PARTF Grant, funded by North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund
- Permit acquisition to include CAMA, Corp of Engineers, NCDLQ, and NCDWQ.
