Railroad Street Landscape & Pedestrian Access Improvements Preliminary Plan, Town of Winterville, NC
The Town has directed new growth into the downtown including a new library, police/fire/EMS building, and town hall. These additions to the downtown compliment existing restaurants, shops, schools, and churches. In an effort to improve the walkability, Rivers developed a pedestrian access and landscape improvement plan. The plan proposes ADA accessible street crossing and curb extensions to define parking, decrease crosswalk distance, receive ornamental vegetation.
