- Storm drain infrastructure plan improvements on the campus of Martin Community College located within the Roanoke River Basin.
- Preliminary Engineers Report was completed with hydraulic recommendations and cost estimates.
- Due to lack of funding from the College, Rivers began coordination with NCSU’s Cooperative Extension Service to secure grants.
- With the help of NCSU and non-profit groups, a plan was set into motion to provide educational BMP’s on campus, including stream restoration, rain gardens, grassed swales, and bioretention ponds.
