Industrial Park, City of Washington, Beaufort County, North Carolina
In 1989, the City of Washington and Beaufort County began development of an Industrial Park to spur economic development in the County. Street and utility improvements were completed in 1990 in order to meet the service demands of a manufacturing facility that located on a 20-acre tract within the area.
Rivers services included:
- Installation of waterlines and sewerlines from the intersection of US 264 and Page Road, continuing one-half mile along Page Road.
- Phase I: Water and Sewer Expansion from Page Road to Legget Road, including the installation of 2,300 LF of 16-inch waterlines and 2,600 LF of 12-inch sewer lines.
- Phase II: 1,420 LF of 16-inch water and 1,350 LF of 12-inch sewer.
- Phase III: 3,210 LF of 16-inch DIP water main and 3,175 LF of 12-inch gravity sewer main.
